Job Description:

The Department of Mental Health, Division of Administrative Services, has an open Intermediate Accountant position to be domiciled at Central office.
Job Duties

Medicaid claims and invoice processing and approval.
Non-Medicaid claims and invoice processing and approval.
Complete bi-monthly reconciliation of transactions processed.
Generate and distribute quarterly Medicaid revenue projections.
Weekly review of DMH Providers' set up in electronic systems and reconcile any issues.
Routinely work with Division staff to resolve matters.
Serve as backup for DMH consumer banking.
Assist with DMH claims processing system issues.

Ability to secure, interpret and analyze data and exercise sound judgement in arriving at conclusions

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relations.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree and 2-4 years of relevant experience. (Substitutions may be allowed.)
Comprehensive knowledge of Financial Reporting
Comprehensive knowledge of SAMII Financial, HR and Data warehouse
