Job Description:

Full Time Financial Opportunity Coach needed to provide financial coaching to engage, teach, and motivate people in regards to their personal finances. A Coach provides services in a one-on-one format and conducts some workshops on topics such as budgeting, credit building, and banking.Job Requirements Include: Associate's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field required. Bachelor's degree preferred. Prefer at least one year of professional experience working with personal finances, particularly in the areas of budgeting, asset building, and credit building. Work experience in the Human Services field is desirable.Will be located in Boone county with travel to the surrounding area.Full Time, flexible work schedule with great benefits including excellent health insurance, generous accrued paid time off and 13 paid holidays, and 0.58/mile travel reimbursement. $39,500 annual salary. Provide one on one financial counseling/coaching
Assist clients in resolving current financial situations and help them learn about proactive financial management.
Develop action plans and provide tools, resources, and accountability to help members meet their goals.
Document actions, services, and outcomes in required agency data systems.
Work with the Family & Community Development team to ensure that any changes affecting the client or client's family is properly documented.
Provide financial coaching workshops.
Develop relationships with local financial institutions and community organizations.
Communicate the services offered by CMCA and connect clients to these services.
Utilize a network of community organizations and referrals to assist members with meeting their goals.
