Job Description:
The Audit Project Analyst is responsible for the support and
completion of Audit projects and subprojects involving the
planning, designing and implementation of audit projects. This
position will be responsible for tracking progress, assigning
deadlines, and reporting back to management on the status of
assigned audit projects. This is a full-time, benefit eligible
position working Monday-Friday. This is a remote position open to
Missouri Residents only. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS - JOB SPECIFIC:
- Support the planning and implantation of assigned audit
projects
- Responsibility for data collection and reporting internal
auditing data with Audit Project team
- Understands internal auditing processes and expectations
- Supports both the monitoring of documentation of services
secondary reviews and data analytics side of audit projects
- Communicates, as needed, with teams on outcomes of
documentation of services reviews and provides education around
findings, when required
- Responsible for examining complex data to ensure data outcome
is presented and accounted for
- Maintains current knowledge of audit processes and tools based
on regulatory compliance requirements
- Maintains communication between both auditing and analytical
side of audit projects
- Monitor data for process improvement opportunities
- Liaison with Audit Project Manager, Director of Internal
Audits, Chief of Audit Services regarding data management, outcomes
and Process Improvement Plans
- Work in tandem with the Audit Project team on control
structures within the organizational environment to ensure the
accuracy and quality of data through all upstream and downstream
data channels
- Maintains knowledge and understanding of the EHR systems and
reporting capabilities
- Other duties as assigned
- Associate's Degree required QUALIFICATION(S):
- At least two (2) years computer applications experience
required
- Knowledge of data extraction from electronic health records
preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Professional Suite and strong
understanding of relational databases preferred
- Experience utilizing Microsoft Excel as a database both for
importing & analyzing data preferred Compass Health Network is a
