Marketing Assistant Responsibilities:

• 
  
• Write B2B social media posts, white papers, case studies, thought leadership, and presentations
  
• Copy edit following the Chicago Manual of Style
  
• Research and write about trends and subject matter relevant to the Division's mission
  
• Use project management software to meet deadlines in a matrixed environment (Asana, Trello, Monday)
  
• Plan, create, schedule, and report on social media
  
• Create PowerPoint reports with a variety of analytics or data points
  
• Compile, format, or edit a variety of documents for the Marketing Director and Department Director
  
• Provide administrative support to the Marketing & Branding Manager, Graphic Designer, and key clients
  
• Learn and understand the Division's services, brand, and how it stands apart from national competitors
  
• Identify marketing trends and key opportunities for brand promotion
  
• Promote the Division brand to key stakeholders via various communications channels
  
  Competencies:
  
  • 
    
  • Professional business presence in person and via Zoom
    
  • High level of attention to detail in all aspects of work
    
  • Professional experience in copywriting
    
  • Ability to learn and follow a style guide
    
  • Proven success working in a deadline-driven environment
    
  • Professional experience with Asana, Trello, or HubSpot is preferred
    
  • B2B or B2C professional experience with digital marketing, social media channels, tactics, and metrics
    
  • B2B or B2C professional experience with Hootsuite, Sprout, Canva, or similar
    
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PPT)
    
  • Basic understanding of Google Analytics
    
  • Experience in account service or administrative office organization tasks
    
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and independently
    
  • A mindset of continuous learning with a desire to stay on top of changes in the world of marketing
    
    Minimum qualifications:
    
    • 
      
    • Four years of experience as an account service executive, content creator, copywriter, or related field. This can be obtained through a combination of work experience and completion of a Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, marketing, or a related field.
      
    • Lack of post-secondary education will not be used as the sole basis for denying consideration to any applicant.
