Your Impact:
When it comes to environmental consulting, we're focused on
cleaning up our communities today to improve our tomorrow. We're
seeking an Environmental Engineer or Project Manager to oversee
complex projects for both federal and private clients. You'll apply
your technical experience in environmental remediation to develop
strategies and work plans while championing safety, quality and the
well-being of your team.
Based out of any of our US offices, this can be a remote position.
You'll have the opportunity to work on sediment remediation
projects across the region and across the country. You'll grow your
career as you interact with key clients to grow our business while
working with recognized technical experts, developing and
implementing comprehensive site strategies, and delivering
innovative solutions on some of the most challenging sites. You'll
collaboratively manage project teams that include junior field and
writing staff, senior technical consultants, and technical subject
matter experts, with support from Jacobs internal management, to
deliver environmental projects with a strong focus and emphasis on
sediment remediation.
Most projects will require thoughtful strategy development,
leveraging technical expertise with client and stakeholder
collaboration. All projects need to be delivered with high safety,
compliance, and quality standards expected by both Jacobs and our

Here's What You'll Need:
Bachelor's degree in environmental engineering, civil engineering,
geotechnical engineering, environmental science or other closely
related technical degree
Experience in sediment remediation (design, management, and/or
monitoring) of contaminated sediments sites in fresh and estuarine
systems
Experience conducting sediment site
investigations/characterizations, remedial investigations,
feasibility studies, engineering evaluations, remedial
designs/actions, and optimizing remediation systems
Experience in identifying and resolving key issues impacting
sediment sites (technical, regulatory, risk, land use, etc.) and
emerging issues
Experience as a Project Manager or Task Manager on environmental
sediment remediation projects
Ideally, You'll Also Have:
Professional Engineer or Project Management Professional (P.E. or
PMP) or ability to obtain and maintain
Experience representing clients to stakeholders such as regulatory
agencies, property owners, government officials, and other
consultants
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with contractors,
team members, regulatory agencies, and clients
Ability to think strategically and critically analyze details. Able
to think on multiple levels while gathering, analyzing, and
synthesizing all relevant data to make sound recommendations
