and receives branch office support, so they can focus on building
deep relationships with clients. Headquarters associates in St.
Louis, Tempe and Mississauga provide support and expertise to help
U.S. and Canada branch teams deliver an ideal client experience. We
continue to grow to meet the needs of long-term individual
investors.Responsible for Performance Management, Relationship
Management and Governance and Compliance Management for 2-6 Third
Party suppliers.
This role will have a clear understanding of how these suppliers
are performing and will develop relationships with internal
functional areas to understand their needs and how those needs may
change into the future. The role is also responsible for developing
relationships across the supplier, up and down, in order to
influence performance, drive efficiencies and identify
opportunities for innovation.
These resources would work closely with functional areas, Sourcing,
and TPR while acting as the "quarterback" of the Supplier
relationship at the firm.
This role is does not have direct people leadership
responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Act as the key point of contact for supplier performance
including the tracking, reporting and improvement, if necessary, of
contractual KPIs, SLAs and other commitments.
- Establish and nurture third party relationships
- Develop, update and maintain supplier performance
scorecards
- Partner with Sourcing during the sourcing process to provide
feedback and identify key metrics and contractual performance
needs
- Interact with internal and external executives to achieve
goals
- Host, develop and schedule quarterly business review meetings
with all key suppliers and internal functional stakeholders
- Initiate and host internal business reviews with internal
stakeholders
- Act as escalation point with supplier
- Develop best practices for managing suppliers and report
results of efforts
- Collaborate, train, mentor and provide guidance to other
members of the team
- Related degree required; Business, Accounting, Finance
- MBA a plus
- Series 7 preferred - can be achieved after hire
- 5 years of indirect sourcing or supplier performance management
experience
- Expertise in sourcing, supplier performance management, broad
knowledge of contracting fundamentals
- Experience developing and maintaining supplier performance
dashboards and reports
- Experience in running quarterly business reviews
- Demonstrated track record of improving supplier
performance
- Ability to interact with C-Suite executives within Edward Jones
and third parties
- Ability to develop and maintain internal and external
relationships even when delivering direct feedback
- Highly effective verbal and written communication skills
- Salesforce experience preferred

and actual pay is based on skills, experience, education, and other
relevant factors for a potential new associate:
