investors.Opportunity Overview:
Strategic Partner Integration is seeking a Product Manager to help
lead the integration of our strategic partners' capabilities and
resources across the firm to accelerate firm initiatives, strategic
priorities and elevate the branch and client experience. This
position predominantly focuses on intentional collaboration and
connectivity across the organization to understand the needs of the
business in order to identify opportunities for strategic partners
to serve as a lever and/or be part of the consideration set in
terms of a solution.
This position requires an individual who can demonstrate a strong
ability to collaborate, communicate with impact to
internal/external stakeholders and identify needs to strategically
plan and execute on a recommended solution with and through our
strategic partners. Being effective in this role requires a high
degree of influence and decision-making when interacting with other
departments and divisions, including senior leadership.
This role also provides for the opportunity to join a team that is
helping the firm to envision how Edward Jones partners beyond our
existing partners to support our transformation and the needs of
our client now and in the future.
Responsibility Summary:
- Identify and lead opportunities to collaborate across business
lines and the enterprise to properly position and advocate for
strategic partner capabilities and resources.
- Support internal departments and committees in making informed
decisions as it relates to the option to partner.
- Responsible for the relationship management of partners of
moderate to significant size, complexity, and impact with regard
everything beyond the product.
- Help influence and consult on the business plan in order to
properly align with the firm's strategic priorities and
initiatives.
- Resolve broad to moderately complex issues involving the
strategic partner.
- Routinely interface with strategic partner peer contacts and
leadership. (i.e., relationship managers, division
managers/heads)
- Serve as a subject matter expert on strategic partner
capabilities (i.e., insights, intellectual capital, tools,
value-add etc.) and resources to appropriately represent a
partner's abilities to provide an innovative solution to a business
need.
- Act as a thought leader representing the team, division, and
firm as a part of product partner events as needed.
- Bring together the team's working knowledge of a business need
and the appropriate strategic partner to creatively co-create and
design-build programs (i.e., education, learning & training) that
support our Financial Advisors and branch teams.
- Establish and maintain an understanding of the regulatory
environment and the rules and policies that impact strategic
partners.
- Participate in broad firm, division and department efforts as
needed to represent the team. (i.e., cross-divisional projects,
internal committees, strategic summits etc.)
- Leverage your talent to help the team drive the future approach
to wholesaler support for our branch team and their evolution.
- Develop and maintain working relationships with internal
constituents (i.e., Products, Compliance, Legal, Branch
Development, Advice & Guidance, Marketing, Solutions)
- Lead certain additional responsibilities specific to the team
or area. (i.e., process improvement)Qualifications Required in the
Job:
Education/Certification: Bachelor's degree required.
Series 7, 66 required with a relevant industry designation(s)
preferred. (i.e., AAMS, CFP, ChFC)
Years of Experience: Generally, 7+ years of relevant financial
services experience.
Broad knowledge of the industry landscape and Edward Jones'
business.
Functional Knowledge
Strong interpersonal skills are necessary to express ideas and
communicate with impact to other areas of the firm, strategic
partners and senior leadership.
Ability to represent the firm and Home Office by meeting with
strategic partner firms, field leadership and branch teams.
- High level of professionalism and integrity.
- Strong written, verbal and presentation skills.Ability to
partner effectively, connect and collaborate in a team-based
environment.
Broad and some advanced knowledge of product line products
Strong technical aptitude and analytical skills
Intermediate proficiency with systems and tools such as MS Office,
Zoom etc.

Problems faced by associates in this role tend to be complex and
unstructured. Achieves results with minimal guidance from their
leader and team members.
Ability to apply sound judgment to formulate recommendations by
analyzing existing information and being resourceful to ensure a
broader understanding of the problem if needed.
