Responsibilities
Manage and lead a global Analytics Infrastructure and Architecture
team focused on providing highly reliable and modern infrastructure
for the teams needs.
Recruit and build the team to meet the infrastructure needs of Data
Management, Business Intelligence, Automation, and Software
Engineering teams while promoting technical excellence in
architecture and automation
Develop a compelling vision and strategy for lean, IaC-based
solutions to amplify impact and reach of AIA. Heavy focus on cloud
automation, containerization, and re-usable approaches.
Take an active role in building out the collaborative development
community across Guidehouse.
Work with the team to maintain and improve the quality of existing
infrastructure currently in use including tools such as RStudio
Workbench, Python, Snowflake, various BI and RPA Platforms, .NET
and open source software stacks.
Engage a variety of stakeholders including analytics team leads,
business segments, IT, and external clients to address needs for
analytics infrastructure support and cloud management. Communicate
complex concepts, manage client expectations, and meet requirements
under tight deadlines
Design and enforce standards, best practices and platform
strategy.
Stay current on Cloud, IaC, DevOps and CI/CD trends, best practices
and tools.
Qualifications
Required:
B.E / B.Tech / M.Tech / B.S. or other relevant degree
10 + years of increasing responsibility in the software, analytics,
or IT fields
4+ years of staff leadership
3+ years of experience with Cloud architecture and automation
Knowledgeable of Public Cloud - Infrastructure as a Service,
Container technologies, PaaS and Server-less public cloud services.
Knowledge of public cloud ecosystems and service offerings e.g.
AWS, Azure, GCP
Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English
language)
Excellent presentation skills
Preferred:
Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Applied
Mathematics, Statistics, Data Management or related fields.
Experience building & managing teams within the infrastructure
space (CloudOps, SRE, & Quality Engineering)
Strong familiarity with cloud-based services (Azure), cloud data
platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, or RedShift, etc.), and
container technologies (e.g., Docker/Kubernetes)
Working knowledge of Agile, Scrum and Application Lifecycle
Management (ALM).
Experience implementing security solutions for enterprise
infrastructure and developing systems to ensure that infrastructure
is compliant to security standards
Experience with infrastructure automation / DevOps at scale to
solve for real-world organizational challenges
Additional Requirements
The successful candidate must not be subject to employment
