looking for a Program Manager to manage engineering projects and
programs to join our Fiery Business Unit supprting the Fremont, CA
office. This position can also be done remotely.Responsibilities
include the following:
- Project justification and initiation
- Planning of development projects: schedule development,
resource requirements, budgeting
- Identification and mitigation of project risk
- Status management: conduct program meetings, preparation and
presentation of executive dashboards and reports, continuous risk
management, issues resolution, crisis management, change management
and escalation management when appropriate
- Communications: contact management and prompt dissemination of
program information to stakeholders
- Management of program delivery: ensure on-time delivery at
interim milestones and at project completion
- Recommend creative approaches to resolve issues and lead a
coordinated team response to issues.
- Participate in improving our systems and processes.
- Coordinate with Scrum teams to use team input to estimate
Release Dates and to anticipate and mitigate associated risks
- Collaborate with the teams and align stakeholders throughout
the release cycle
- Ability to serve as an Agile Scrum team Product Owner if
requiredJob Requirements:
- Bachelor or Masters degree in Computer Science/Electrical
Engineering/Business
- Up to 5 years of related experience
- Excellent written, verbal, and
interpersonal/communication/negotiation skills to coordinate and
drive a project to successful completion
- Knowledge of software and hardware development process
- Technical capability to understand complex software engineering
issues
- Ability to be resourceful in researching and recommending
solutions
- Ability to develop aggressive, but realistic, schedules and
communicate/drive them effectively throughout the
organization.
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and supply
regular, accurate and relevant status to management.
- Ability to effectively work with cross functional groups
including technical support, marketing, sales, etc.
- Strong knowledge of program management processes
- Effective meeting management skills
- Strong ability to manage cross functionally
- In-depth knowledge of the Microsoft Office SuiteDesired Skills:
- Understanding of the manufacturing process and capable of
managing product configurations, BOMs, costing, parts changes,
etc.
- Knowledge of the regulatory, safety, EMI, DVT, and ergonomic
requirements
- Experience with Agile development methodology
- Knowledge of the printing industrySalary Range:
$119,000-$130,000The salary range for this job is a general
guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
