This role is offered to active duty service members who are enrolled in the Skillbridge program or are looking for a Skillbridge internship only. This is a contract role for up to 6 months. One Data Streaming Platform.Data Connects Us.About the Role:We are looking for a Federal Engagement Manager to join our Public Sector Professional Services team under the Customer Success organization. As an Engagement Manager you will assure Customer success by driving customer satisfaction throughout the Professional services life-cycle for key Public Sector customers, from orchestrating the engagement to successful delivery and beyond.As a Confluent Ambassador, the Engagement Manager ensures our customers are getting the most value out of our products and services by preparing, managing the delivery, and following-up on our professional services engagements. Acting as an important Professional Services contact for our key customers the Engagement Manager is a long term, relationship based, customer facing role. Besides customer-facing activities, the Engagement Manager is involved in supporting the Professional Services Team by working on new offerings, developing engagement processes, positioning additional Professional Services, and building a first class Professional Services Team. The role is remote, however the east coast time zone is preferred.What You Will Do:

• Own and lead selected, simultaneous customer engagements and manage customer expectations (-3-5 accounts)
• Prepare client facing and internal collateral such as solution presentations, project plans and status reports
• Plan and manage project activities and oversee completion of deliverables, managing schedules, meeting milestones, and ensuring success. Responsible for customer satisfaction throughout the engagement cycle
• Consult with customers to understand and analyze engagement scope, requirements, time, cost, and benefits
• Embody the One Team spirit. Collaborate with other departments like Sales and Engineering to work on offerings and proposals containing Professional Services
• Represent Professional Services within customer planning sessions and formulate a PS strategy for assigned accountsWhat You Will Bring:

  • Strong service delivery, time, project and priority management skills
  • Experience in project financial fundamentals
  • Love for work in a fast growing and dynamic environment and ability to keep pace with constant change
  • Ability (and willingness) to travel up to 25% of the time to client engagements
  • Proficient English speaking and writing skills are a must
