St. Mary's Hospital - Jefferson City, MO

Bill Rate $198-213

24 ED Beds

167 Hospital Beds

Need 7 to 10 shifts per month

No Fast Track

BLS & ACLS

Open ICU-ICU involvement in collaboration with intensivist, critical pts require an intensivist consult

Does not back up ED providers

No New Grads accepted

Intensivist available, EICU

28k annual volume

BC, prefer IM, will consider FP w/HM experience

7a-7p/7p-7a- does not allow 24 hr shifts

No Call

EMR Epic

Privilege timeframe: 60 days

2 physicians on days and 1 at night

Helipad

Must complete a residency

HM, ICU Nurse, RT and House Administrator assist in the Rapid Response Team

Anesthesia handles intubations

Intensivist or Pulmonology handles vents

Census 18-25 pts w/ the support of a mid-level per day. We want the physician to lay their eyes on the patient, attest to the mid-level's note, and add a personal statement about HPI, exam, or plan of care.

No On-call required

Admit rate for day and night averages 6 per night and 8 per day

ED runs codes- HM providers respond to Rapid Response calls that include in house

Code STEMI and Strokes

Acuity level: all patients between the ages of 18-110. An intensivist referral is required for critical care patients. EICU is available in the ICU. Only ship the acute neuro patients for the most part.

Sub-specialties- Most sub-specialties available. Pulmonology, Orthopedics, Cardiology, Vascular, Endocrine, GI, General Surgery, Cardiothoracic, some Neuro (noninvasive)

No Scribes

Transfers go to University Hospital or Boone Hospital in Columbia, MO

No Procedures
