• Average census of 16 patients per hospitalist, 7 - 8 admits in a 24-hour period
• Vents, arterial & central lines, intubations, conscious & deep sedation
• Credentialing needed
• DEA needed
• Paid malpractice insurance; pre-paid travel and housing expenses
