and receives branch office support, so they can focus on building

investors.
The Team Leader plans, directs, and leads a team of associates and
contractors responsible for Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and Insider
Threat operations, response, and reporting. Align team activities,
strategies, responsibilities and objectives with the firm's
strategic direction.
Develop and execute on-going improvements for processes related to
the team (e.g. resource management and support processes).
Drive strategy and execution of the Firm's DLP program in
collaboration with stakeholders
Lead, develop, manage, maintain, and enhance security controls
(alerts, rules, policies) for security platforms
Assess and influence risk-based prioritizations for DLP and other
security controls
Provide DLP input on design and configuration of security controls
across multiple capabilities including firewall, proxy, endpoint,
and messaging
Ensure prudent use of the firm's financial resources.
Provide leadership, development, and mentoring to associates
through examples and timely feedback.
Develop successors for key positions on their team
Understanding of the team's systems, processes, and technologies.
Manages and develops self while internalizing leadership
feedback.
Establish and maintain effective communications and relationships
across teams, departments, countries, vendors and other
divisions.
Must be able to establish and maintain effective relationships with
vendors while aligning to the firm's objectives.
Qualifications Required in the Job:Bachelor's degree preferred or
related work experience.
Minimum of 5 years of experience directly related to Information
Systems technology with at least 1 year in a leadership role
(mentoring associates, lead analyst, project leaders, etc.).
Experience with incident response, digital forensics experience,
DLP and or Insider Threat is preferred
Experience working with ProofPoint Email DLP on rule creation for
blocking and alert is preferred
Investigative mindset and familiarity with analytic methodologies,
including a working knowledge of common data sets required to
investigate DLP and Insider Risk events
Excellent verbal and written communications skills with a strong
attention to detail and comfort in presenting technical details to
non-technical parties
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and capable of
working under pressure
Ability to maintain confidentiality while dealing with sensitive
information
Technical Qualifications Required in the Role:Knowledge of
Operating Systems and general IT fundamentals
Knowledge of web application logic flow and email messaging
flows
Knowledge of authentication principles and technologies, including
Active Directory
Knowledge of security fundamentals, including firewalls, routers
and ACLs
Awareness of various regulatory compliances such as privacy/GDPR,
PCI, and others
Experience with information security or insider threat related
technologies including:Data loss prevention (DLP) solutions such as
Digital Guardian, Forcepoint, McAfee DLP, Symantec DLP, ProofPoint,
etc
User and entity behavioral analytics (UEBA) solutions such as
Splunk UBA, Exabeam, Gurucul, Varonis, Microsoft ATA, etc
Security event and incident management (SIEM) solutions such as
Splunk, QRadar, LogRhythm, Sentinel, Elastic, etc
Cloud access security broker (CASB) solutions such as Symantec
CloudSOC, McAfee MVISION, Netskope, Bitglass, Forcepoint, etc
Experience providing feedback to engineers that clearly define
capability requirements in support of investigative efforts
Experience with Digital Forensics, including forensic imaging,
chain of custody, and use of FTK/encase for full forensic
investigations is a plus
Candidates that live within in a commutable distance from our
Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations are expected to
work in the office three days per week, with preference for Tuesday
through Thursday.
