Job Description
This position is part of the Web Collaboration Team who maintains
and support the Central Bancompany external websites and
microsites. This is a fast-paced work environment and the ideal
candidate should have a can-do attitude and be excited by new
technologies, outpacing competitors, and creating high-performance
websites. Although a relevant degree is desired, we want to be
impressed with your experience, your passion and potential.
Responsibilities
High-quality work with attention to detail and an eye for
consistency ensuring a consistent look and feel throughout all web
properties.
Design or redesign websites, web pages, and web components that
align with existing design standards.
Safeguarding that web content and images are consistent with the
company standards.
Update content in all sections of our corporate websites. This will
include making copy updates, creating pages, and adding
pre-approved content (images and text).
Conduct research on competitors and occasionally with users in
order to improve our existing or new designs.
Create or update custom microsites that are built around the needs
of the customer.
Manage, organize, and prioritize multiple tasks by ensuring all
assigned projects are completed on time and accurately.
Present designs and/or research in a clearly understandable
manner.
Perform reviews of peer's work including User Acceptance Testing
and code reviews to optimize performance.
Keep up with the latest trends in web development in the
industry.
General awareness of SEO and ADA best practices.
Requirements
Relevant degree desired, but candidate may work toward earning this
or have advanced knowledge in this space
4+ years working experience with HTML 5, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript and
Bootstrap 4
Experience working on websites with a mobile-first design
mentality
High attention to detail and organized
Self-motivated with excellent time management skills
Critical thinking skills
Experience working within content management systems (CMS) is
preferred
Solid understanding of UX design trends
Ability to collaborate and work on projects as a team as well as
independently
Able to quickly learn new programs/software needed to complete
their assigned tasks
Knowledgeable with Adobe Creative Suite
Experience with Adobe XD and/or Figma preferred
Comfortable with Microsoft Office programs specifically in
Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Knowledgeable with Google Workspace
