Job Description:
Brownfield is the oldest and largest agricultural radio network
in the U.S. Hundreds of radio stations across 10 states carry
agricultural programming created by Brownfield's award-winning team
of farm broadcasters. LEARFIELD is also home to four statewide
radio networks that provide news, sports and feature programming to
radio stations throughout the Midwest, including: Minnesota News
Network, Missourinet, Radio Iowa and Wisconsin Radio Network.
Primary Responsibilities Brownfield is looking to hire an Ag News
Intern to work in the Jefferson City, Missouri newsroom from
mid-May through mid-August. The successful candidate will assist in
creating and producing unique content for Brownfield's radio
network and various multi-media platforms. The role may entail
covering events, interviewing industry influencers and contributing
to all Brownfield products. The candidate may anchor radio and
video programs as well. Job Requirements Ability to communicate
professionally and effectively in writing and verbally. A strong
nose for news, good interviewing skills, excellent grammar, and
strong writing skills. Ability to meet and manage deadlines, adapt
and think on your feet in fast-paced environment. Natural
