This position will be responsible for the analysis, design, testing, development, and maintenance of best-in-class infrastructure practices. This individual should be highly motivated with excellent analysis, execution, collaboration, and communication skills. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of cloud computing in Azure, storage and technology systems and applying these in building solutions to solve complex business needs, as well as experience cloud infrastructure. The candidate will be adept with the agile software development lifecycle and DevOpsprinciples.#LI-RemoteBasic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.5+ years Networking experience/knowledge since this position aligns to an infrastructure architect/engineer5+ years Domain expertiseHands on experience with public cloud providers (Azure, AWS, Google)5+ years experience with Microsoft AzureResponsibilities:Lead and implement cloud system architectures to support the ongoing cloud transformation of USBanks business.Provide cloud guidance and architectural oversight during project definition and design and ensure that the solution is aligned to the cloud strategy and architecture.Provide strategic recommendations for cloud design, infrastructure design, software development design/architecture, application frameworks, and/or interfaces.Accountable for ensuring all aspects of product development follow compliance and security standards and best practices.Drive cloud security and compliance requirements into the cloud architecture framework, including for the data integration points with on-premises and other cloud systems.Present technical concepts and specific solutions to internal and external audiences of varying technical capabilities in a clear, concise, and easily understood manner.Define and document the cloud reference architecture and drive its implementation across all the cloud components.Evaluate technologies, concepts, designs, and provide new recommendations.Requires Skills/Experience5+ years architecture experience, with 3+ of those years specifically focused on enterprise cloud implementations.5+ years experience with Infrastructure as a code, CI/CDGitflow, Gitops, Gitlab or GitHub experienceExperience evaluating existing application design and making recommendations for enhancing applications to leverage cloud technology and services.Azure Cloud infrastructure configuration and support.Responsible for creating on-premise and public cloud systems for communication, sharing, storage and backup of data, including big-data analysis.A strong background in scripting and programming languages including - Terraform, Ansible (For creating and running playbooks), Groovy (Jenkins Pipeline), Python, Git .Domain expertise, including hands-on experience, with the full range of cloud services from one or more public cloud providers.Develops design and functional specifications, produces deliverables related to specific projects and assists in post implementation support and system enhancements which may include platforms and systems besides Azure, such as AWS, CSP, API, microservices.Working experience with DNS, Load balancers, Routing.Working experience developing solutions with cloud orchestration tools.Demonstrated experience architecting and deploying secure and privacy policy compliant enterprise class cloud services.Demonstrated experience leveraging open-source projects to accelerate the development of cloud services.Demonstrated skills in network switching, routing principles within cloud and hybrid environments; hybrid DNS design; cloud firewall and network security tools, load balancing and IP configurations.Working experience with modern development and delivery methodologies such as Agile and CI/CD and ability to apply these processes.Provide guidance on Cloud Storage design, Backup and Recovery, and Cross region availability.Work with Cloud Storage technology partners on data migration and cloud adoption for their platforms.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Preferred Skills/Experience:Thorough understanding of frameworks, agile development processes and methodology, and the business model in relation to their current product focus areaAbility to collaborate on all aspects of product developmentProficient understanding of algorithms, data structures, architectural design patterns and best practicesStrong leadership, problem-solving and analytical skillsEffective presentation, verbal, and written communication skillsAZ-900 Certification a plusIf theres anything we can do to accommodate a disability during any portion of the application or hiring process, please refer to our disability accommodations for applicants (.Learn how the way we work at U.S. Bank (drives meaningful relationships with our customers and collaboration across the company.Benefits:Take care of yourself and your family with U.S. Bank employee benefits.
