Join us and contribute to Sedgwick being a great place to work.Great Place to Work -Most Loved Workplace -Forbes Best-in-State EmployerProvider Network Coordinator**Primary Purpose**The primary purpose of the Provider Network Coordinator is to act as a liaison between the Sedgwick Contract and Credentialing teams and respond to inquiries from the provider networks.**Essential Functions and Responsibilities**+ Respond to inquiries sent from internal and external contacts to the group's email box.+ Respond to requests to add new providers using the standard template which instructs providers as to the documents needed and updates required for consideration in joining the Sedgwick networks.+ Distribute requests to add new providers from existing groups and from Network Development to the Credentialing team members.+ Follow-up with providers to request specific information and/or documentation as required and instructed by Credentialing or Network Development.+ Send credentialing approval letters to providers following the committee meeting held monthly.+ Send executed agreements and onboarding materials to provider groups after approval.+ Locate and distribute executed agreements as requested by internal and external customers to approved recipients, including, approved internal colleagues and approved agents of the provider groups.+ Obtain primary source documentation for internal Sedgwick Managed Care clinical personnel as instructed.+ Maintain provider files with the most updated documentation received to the group email boxes.+ Maintain provider information as required in the credentialing system.+ Submit monthly termination and newly approved practitioner and group reports to Data Management.+ Assist with projects involving Credentialing and Contracting and act as the project coordinator for the group as needed.+ Attend monthly Credentialing Committee meeting and document notes from the meeting.+ Each month, assist in the creation and distribution of the agenda and other materials to members of the Credentialing Committee, prior to the regular meeting.**ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES**+ Other duties as assigned+ Supports the organization's quality program(s).**EDUCATION & LICENSING**+ Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or two-years experience with provider networks and/or credentialing.**EXPERIENCE**+ Two (2) years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required to include three (1) years of customer service and/or one (1) year of analytical experience.
