Responsible for directing and coordinating daily Facilities
requests by performing duties personally or through contractors to
ensure that goals are accomplished within the prescribed timeframes
and cost parameters. Manage requests to ensure database information
is accurate by timely completion of updates and prompt resolution
of items on maintenance reports.
- Provide excellent service by finding the right solution that
meets associate/department needs in a timely and cost-effective
manner.
- Ensure Facilities in-box and phone line are covered
appropriately during normal business hours.
- Ensure response to all requests is received within 24
hours.
- Complete simple move/add/change (m/a/c) requests.
- Collaborate with teams within the department and other business
areas to maintain service excellence standards.
- Collect all necessary associate and equipment (hardware &
software) information; compile into CAFM (computer aided facilities
mgmnt system) and manage changes.
- Coordinate activities, anticipate issues and resolve
autonomously or in collaboration with other service providers
(Property Mgmnt, Bldg Security, Mail Services, IS, etc.) to ensure
business operations are not disrupted.
- Maintain furniture, signage and building standards and
strategically utilize inventory across all campus locations.
- Create and maintain furniture, telecom and electrical CAD
drawings for real estate portfolio
- Collect and examine data from a variety of sources and
formulate recommendations for CAD and other Facilities systems
improvement.
- Maintain, evolve and enforce CAD Standards for layering,
dimensions, text annotations, information storage, and all other
CAD related functions.
- Contribute to the evolution of company CAD procedures, work
practices and technology to grow CAD design related capability and
capacity.
- Reviews drawings and verifies drawing accuracy.
- Ability to apply complex CAD techniques to complete assignments
and assist others.
- Maintain and assist in development of department internal
intranet pages and information, including maps, photos, projects,
and technology information.
- Manage request to ensure accuracy of the database and
communicate effectively with appropriate vendors
- Work with electrical/telecom, furniture dealership and
moving/installation contractors to ensure accurate & complete
installation. Identify opportunities to improve standard operating
procedures (SOPs) to increase overall process efficiencies and
maintain the Firm's status as an employer of choice.
- Defines respective action items.
- Correspond with responsible groups.
- Establish completion dates. What Experience You'll Need:
- 2-4 years AutoCAD experience with AutoCAD customization
knowledge.
- Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel,
Outlook, Project) and Adobe products.
- Ability to read construction drawings.
- Knowledge of standard Facilities related vocabulary (furniture
& equipment descriptions, introductory level code compliance,
electrical/telecommunications, etc.).
- Proficient knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to prioritize and manage workload autonomously.
- Must have proven written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to develop and maintain relationships with key
contractors.
- Retention and basic understanding of Life Safety and Building
code requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills. What

- Experience with Computer Aided Facilities Management (CAFM)
system.

range for this role is based on national data and actual pay is
based on skills, experience, education, and other relevant factors
