JOB DESCRIPTION:
Do you enjoy the challenge of designing integrated circuits from the ground up for challenging environments and unique applications - from outer space to inside the human body? Our client's Microelectronics Group consists of about a dozen motivated engineers developing analog, mixed-signal, and RF application-specific integrated circuits (ASIC). We are looking to add new members to our team who are capable of specifying and architecting chips, designing circuits using the Cadence tool suite, leading small teams, and interfacing with engineers and physicists in an interdisciplinary environment.
This position is Part time Eligible and Remote eligible. The role is also eligible for full benefits working 20+ hours/week.
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:

• 
  
• 
  MS with 10+ years of experience designing integrated circuits
  
  
• 
  PhD with 5+ years of experience designing integrated circuits
  
  
• 
  Experience designing analog or mixed-signal circuits such as amplifiers, PLL, ADC, DAC, voltage regulators, and/or SMPS
  
  
• 
  Cadence Virtuoso
  
  
  Preferred Qualifications:
  
  • 
    
  • 
    Experience with low power energy harvesting and power conditioning
    
    
  • 
    Experience with low energy per bit radio architectures
    
    
  • 
    Experience with MOS advanced nodes below 32nm
    
    
  • 
    Experience with radiation-hardened electronics
