Investment Management Systems digital product area is looking for a
Business Systems Analyst to join our Investment Advice & Monitoring
product team. IAM develops software solutions to advance, scale,
and personalize the practice of Portfolio Managers, Investment Risk
Managers and Securities Research Analysts in the home office to
better serve the needs of branch teams and clients.
As a Business Systems Analyst on the Investment Advice & Monitoring
product team, you will be joining a diverse and highly
collaborative agile team. Together we develop and support tools
that allow the firm's best advice and guidance to be integrated
across our branch and client tools.

a Business Analyst I, II, OR III*
Responsibility Summary:
- Serve on a durable agile product team to maintain, enhance, or
integrate firm systems and data.
- Proactively identify technology and process improvement
opportunities.
- Support one or more highly complex business processes and serve
as a functional leader.
- Liaison between product teams, external vendors, and other
stakeholders to coordinate actions, understand and manage
dependencies.
- Create, maintain, and occasionally review business process
models, data flows, prototypes, business requirements, use cases
and test cases.
- Create and execute multiple project plans of moderate to high
complexity at the same time.
- Understanding of cross divisional systems and impacts of
change.
- Generate communication, process, and educational plans to
mitigate the disruption of change.
- Execute and present written and verbal business systems impact
analysis resulting in identification of new systems and data with
moderate impact.
- Responsible for business systems case development and
presentation for new systems and data.
- Mentors less experienced members of the team.Skills /
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree is required.
- Financial Services / FinTech Industry knowledge is strongly
preferred.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience designing and implementing
functional systems and data in a structured process.
- Experience with Gap Analysis, Requirements Gathering, Execution
of Test Plans
- Ability to research data definition, usage, and flow to gain
expertise in existing systems.
- Ability to create new business processes and data usage to
promote efficiency.
- Advanced troubleshooting skills to investigate, resolve and
escalate problems. Identifies need for technical assistance to help
in problem resolution.
- Teamwork / collaboration mindset with the ability to work with
stakeholders throughout the organization.
- Ability to effectively communicate with cross divisional teams
using verbal, written and presentations skills.
- Ability to summarize moderate to highly complex business cases,
system information and concepts and clearly communicate to cross
divisional leadership.
- Advanced organizational and time management skills with the
ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment,
multi-task and work with leader to prioritize assigned tasks /
projects.
Additional desired skills:
- Familiarity with or interest in investment research, portfolio
management and investment risk oversight concepts.
- Technical proficiency with tools to query and analyze data such
as SQL Developer, Tableau, or other BI tools.
- Understanding of agile principles and previous experience on an
agile product team.

and actual pay is based on skills, experience, education, and other
