Contract Analyst Overview of PositionThe Contract Analyst will
serve as a legal specialist in Change Healthcare's Third Party
Liability department. Contract Admin duties include a variety of
administrative and tasks related to their primarily responsibility
of obtaining/maintaining eligibility data feeds with commercial,
government, and other insurance carriers. Under limited
supervision, Legal specialists research potential eligibility data
sources, identify appropriate contacts, and initiate the data
sharing process. Legal specialists act as facilitators throughout
the data sharing process, acting as project managers and liaisons
between relevant stakeholders and proactively resolving roadblocks.
Legal specialists are typically responsible for managing data
relationships between Change Healthcare and -200 carriers.What will
be my duties and responsibilities in this job?+ Administrative and
legal tasks related initiating contact with commercial, government,
and other insurance carriers + Research potential eligibility data
sources + Identify appropriate contacts, and initiate the data
sharing process with insurance carriers + Act as the primary
initiator of the data sharing process via US mail and e-mail +
Manage relationships between Change Healthcare and -200 insurance
carriers + Overtime may be required based on operational needWhat
are the requirements needed for this position?+ Bachelor Degree OR
3 years experience in contracts+ 3+ years of experience with
paralegal type support roleWhat other skills/experience would be
helpful to have?+ Experience working in Healthcare Industry+
Experience in government and/or commercial insurance healthcare
coverage+ Paralegal certification + Ability to interpret/research
state and federal laws+ Ability to adapt to the significant and
frequent changes of the healthcare market+ Ability to work within a
team environment with a positive attitude+ Strong investigative
skills with detail orientation+ Strong multi-tasking ability+
Proficiency with time and workload management+ Very strong verbal
and written communication skills+ Proficiency Microsoft Windows and
Office products (esp. Word and Excel)What are the working
conditions and physical requirements of this job? General Office
DutiesHow much should I expect to travel? Employees in roles that
require travel will need to be able to qualify for a company credit
card or be able to use their own personal credit card for travel
expenses and submit for reimbursement.
