Pomp's Tire Service has a full-time opening for an Alignment Technician. Pomp's specializes in commercial tires, suspension, brakes, alignments, steering and many other vehicle components. With stores and services offered throughout the Midwest, Pomp's offers a variety of unique opportunities to exercise your skills in the automotive services industry.Job Responsibilities:--- Perform wheel alignments on passenger vehicles and light trailers--- Maintain and replace tires on passenger vehicles--- Maintain tools and equipment--- Troubleshoot customer needs and inspect vehicles for additional problem--- Use basic hand tools, tire tools, alignment machines, air wrench and other essential tools--- Additional tasks as assigned by managerJob Requirements:--- General mechanical and suspension knowledge--- Ability to understand Alignment Theory--- Basic computer knowledge--- Driver's License preferredPhysical Requirements:--- Ability to stand for long periods of time--- Ability to perform multiple tasks--- Ability to lift, push and pull up to 125 pounds--- Frequently bending, squatting and kneeling--- Ability to work in fast-paced environmentWe offer competitive pay and a great benefits package.
