What You Will Do :
The Program Analyst would lead stakeholder engagement and communications for the Guidehouse team supporting the Public Sector Diplomacy Client. The client is responsible for developing, coordinating, and implementing U.S. policies, both within the UN system and in abroad range of non-UN organizations, as they relate to financial, budgetary, administrative, and management issues, as well as promoting U.S. citizen employment in international organizations through public outreach and diplomatic engagement. Significant resources are expended every year to support these efforts, and it is important for the client to accurately measure program performance and effectiveness to understand the impact these resources are having, inform future programming decisions, and better tell its story.
The client requires support in understanding and using data to better measure and make decisions on the strategic impact and effectiveness of its contributions to and support of international organizations. The client also desires an understanding of how well its multiple lines of effort advance U.S. foreign policy objectives. Guidehouse has established a framework for Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E), data management, data visualization and analysis, and organizational change management efforts by better measuring the impact of client activities against Agency strategies and priorities.
The Program Analyst will work on the communications workstream with the client, support stakeholder engagement across the bureau, and support change management initiatives. The Program Analyst will support data collection activities, work with client stakeholders to identify data needs, and effectively communicate client data activities to technical and non-technical audiences. Candidates must have experience working with Public Diplomacy Agency stakeholders. Successful candidates will have experience with client and program management and policy analysis, work well in a collaborative environment, think creatively, thrive under pressure, and be able to adjust to shifting priorities quickly. Candidates will possess effective diplomatic, time management, and oral and written communication skills.
What You Will Need :



  • THREE (3) years of professional experience


  • Bachelor's degree


  • Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET federal security clearance


    What Would Be Nice To Have :


    • An ACTIVE and CURRENT SECRET federal security clearance


    • Skilled in quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis


    • Experience working in teams to produce high-impact work products, reports, and other deliverables in a fast-paced environment


    • Knowledge and understanding of project management principles and the phases of project management (Initiation, Planning, Execution, Monitoring, Closure)


    • Experience planning and executing projects of varying degrees of complexity, preferably projects that involve serving a client and engaging directly with the client throughout project performance.


    • Experience in strategic planning on an office/team and Bureau-level


    • Bachelor's degree in international relations, international security studies, political science, or equivalent


    • Attention to detail, and the ability to create and edit technical and non-technical written work products and graphical presentations


    • Ability to view problems from multiple angles and apply a variety of solutions to solving them


    • Ability to participate in and lead client-facing discussions and meetings


    • Ability to synthesize information quickly and effectively.


    • Desire to support public sector clients with a foreign assistance mission


    • Advanced degree in international relations, international security studies, political science, or equivalent


    • Experience in SharePoint management and design


      The annual salary range for this position is $74,900.00-$149,800.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
