About The Position
The Senior Facilities Specialist manages facility services as well
as construction and maintenance projects associated with building
sites located throughout the assigned area.
Key responsibilities include:
Perform frequent building inspections to ensure proper operation of
critical systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.).
Make routine daily contacts with division personnel to ascertain
building-related problems/conditions and provide prompt feedback
and direction.
Assist in the preparation of the building construction and
maintenance budgets. Assistance shall include project evaluation
and justifications, development of budget estimates and the
preparation of work orders.
Perform administrative duties, i.e., contracts/specification
development, submit requisitions for labor and/or materials,
process pay requests, review vendor invoices.
Manage projects to assure they are completed safely, on time, and
within budget.
Provide supervision and administration of outsourced services.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Facility Management or related field from an
accredited college or university required. Five or more years of
facility management experience required.
In addition to the above qualifications, the successful candidate
will demonstrate:
Working knowledge of the operation and maintenance of commercial
HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems, roofing, structures, paving,
and landscaping required. Must have good communication and computer
skills. Must also have ability to analyze and solve building
related problems on a daily basis. Proficiency with the MS Office
Suite of applications also required.

Ameren's selection process includes a series of interviews and may
include a leadership assessment process. Specific details will be
