Job Description:

Manage enterprise-wide storage and data protection platforms and technologies to ensure scalability, interoperability, and availability.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the enterprise-wide storage and data protection platforms and technologies. This includes working with vendors to test new products and enhance existing platforms, facilitating capacity planning, and performing analysis of the current landscape of storage workloads and storage pools. You will also identify data storage, management, protection, and disaster recovery requirements of various applications and business systems in use across the core shared infrastructure.

• Work with vendors to test new products and enhance existing platforms
  
• Facilitate capacity planning and perform analysis of the current landscape of storage workloads and storage pools
  
• Identify data storage, management, protection, and disaster recovery requirements of various applications and business systems
  
• Participate in disaster recovery infrastructure planning, building, and testing
  
• Support mission-critical projects, leading testing plans and working with internal customers on the determination of requirements
  
• Drive the deployment, maintenance, and support of all infrastructure in scope of the storage team
  
• Assist with planning, testing, and provision of detailed steps to ensure successful completion of storage hardware and software upgrades and maintenance work
  
• Oversee capacity management of storage systems - both on-premise and cloud resources
  
• Develop backup and disaster recovery policies and procedures as it pertains to the primary storage infrastructure
  
• Define the roadmap for the design of storage solutions for on-premise and cloud environments
  
• Communicate architecture decisions, roadblocks, and timelines to stakeholders
  
  
  Education/Experience:
  
  • 
    
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science)
    
  • 4-6 years of related experience
    
    
    Technical Skills:
    
    • 
      
    • Enterprise Storage: Dell PowerMax, Dell Isilon, NetApp ONTAP, SRDF, SnapMirror, Cisco MDS
      
    • Cloud storage: AWS S3, AWS FSx for ONTAP, IAM, AWS EFS, AWS EBS, Azure Blob, Aviatrix
      
    • Automation: Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation, Lambda
      
    • DevOps/Software Development: PowerShell, Python, JavaScript, Gitlab
      
    • Other/General: VMware, SQL, IP networking
